Spaten Beer

Overview:
Wanting to be recognized as an authentic
Bavarian beer, Spaten approached us looking
for a better way to position themselves as
the authenticate German beer for the US
market, playing off their heritage as the original
Oktoberfest beer, we used original Bavarian
styling. The design reciep included two parts
authenticity (the woodcuts and Bavarian
folk art style) and one part fun (because heck,
it's beer). The client was so excited by the
concept that he got on the phone to his guys
in Germany and had them send over some
wood from Bavera.
